Soundproofing.

Quieter walls and ceilings between bedrooms, basement suites, home theatres, offices and floors. Serving Surrey and the Lower Mainland.

Most noise problems come down to how a wall or ceiling is built. Sound travels through gaps, through empty cavities and straight through the studs and joists, so a quieter room means dealing with all three.

Depending on the space and the budget, we fill the cavity with sound-absorbing insulation, separate the drywall from the framing with resilient channel, add extra layers of board, and seal the gaps and penetrations that let sound leak through. Because we do the insulation, the framing details and the drywall ourselves, the whole assembly is built to work together.

Tell us what you're hearing and where, and we'll recommend the right approach for the room.
