On a new build, drywall sits right in the middle of the schedule. Framing, mechanical and insulation have to be done before we start, and painters, cabinets and trim are waiting on us to finish. We plan the job with the GC up front so board is delivered, hung and taped without holding anyone up.
One crew handles the whole scope: board, corner bead, tape, mud and sanding. Ceilings, bulkheads, tall walls and stairwells are all part of the job, and the walls are left ready for primer.
