A good repair is one you can't find. That means cutting back to solid material, using the right patch for the size of the damage, feathering the mud wide enough that it disappears, and matching the texture around it.
For water damage, the leak has to be fixed first. Then we cut out the wet board, let the area dry, replace it and finish it to match. Send us a photo of the damage and we can usually give you an idea of the job right away.
